FAQ

Location/Directions

Loyola Marymount University is located at Loyola Blvd. and West 80th Street in Los Angeles, near Los Angeles International Airport. Click here for directions. The start/finish area is located at the Softball Field on the southeast side of Campus, located behind Gersten Pavilion.

Awards

  • Top 3 male and female finishers overall in the 5k and the 10k receive trophies.
  • Top 3 male and female age-graded finishers in the 5k and 10k receive trophies.

  • Top 3 male and female finishers in each age category receive medals.
  • A raffle will be held following the conclusion of the 10k for all additional prizes.

Start Time and Area

The start and registration areas for the 2007, 12th annual, LMU Run for the Bay will be determined shortly.

Course

The course is a loop course (5K one loop, 10K two loops). The course is mainly asphalt, however there are some dirt and grass areas. The course is run entirely on the campus of Loyola Marymount University in residential Westchester.

The course has one hill, which descends and ascends 80 feet over .4 mile.

Course Accessibility

Course is not wheelchair accessible and is difficult for baby buggies.

Restrictions 

Sorry, no pets are allowed.

Parking

Free parking is available. Please enter the University via the Loyola Blvd. entrance and park in Hannon Lot, which is located on the left-hand side as you enter the campus.
